CHAPTER 2

“No one’s around……. right……?”

Nervously I peeked from the door and inspected the surroundings. As expected, there wasn’t any trace of a person.
I once again walked into the room and felt the wooden sensation by my feet.
When I entered the room, I checked the closet and saw some shirts and pants that are too thin to fit me. There was also a few underwear.
The quality feels good to the touch, so it’s a little regretful.

“Ah, I didn’t notice it before but there was a window here”

I approached it and check the outside.
And when I did….

“Woah…..”

Outside the window, are trees surrounding the room.
The place I lived is not a place in the mountains. It’s in the middle of the residential area so you would usually just see cars passing through.
And yet, I’m in the middle of the forest.

Perhaps a super realistic painting has been pasted on the window, but when I opened the window, I had to abandon that thought.

 “What the?”

I took it to and tried to read the contents but, it was written in mysterious and unfamiliar letters.

“…Can’t read, Is this the language here?”

I shouldn’t have understood it but, while staring at the letter a message appeared.

Hey, what a convenient skill.
Immediately, I appraised it…..

【Language Comprehension】- A skill that allows comprehension of all language, such as the ability to read and write.

This is a really convenient skill!
If this is also effective on earth, Wouldn’t I be able to speak English easily?
Anyhow, since I finally acquired this skill I once again focused my attention towards the letter. The mysterious letters I couldn’t read a short while ago, suddenly become readable
In summary, the previous master of this room seems like he decided to part with the house before the end of his life.
And because he has no family, he decided to transfer the ownership of the house to anyone who would stumble upon it. Even everything inside the house.

The double-edged sword seems like it was freshly polished with its blades able to reflect my face.
Everything was good about this sword that even though it doesn’t have any ornament attached to it, an amateur like me would still be able to tell this was a stylish sword and be able to feel how excellent it is.

But still, should I really be acquiring skills this easily?
